My mom gave me this statue a few years ago.  I've always liked it smiling face, it kind of reminds of the fun times I usually have with my mom.

I was messing around with lighting and stuff and I think this one came out kind of cool.  It's a miniature version of Simon's actual car. (Close enough anyway)

DAY 337

Simon and I went for a bike ride today and I decided to bring the camera along so I could snap a few pictures while we were out.  Here's on of Simon riding away into the distance.  I know it's not a terribly interesting shot but, if I'm honest, I didn't take very many pictures; I was sort of doing a lot of bike riding myself!  Anyway, this is the picture for the day......

My little Snackie loves to sit in the window above my desk in the mornings and warm herself in the sun, but still be able to keep an eye on what I'm doing.  I thought this was a cute moment today....

It always makes me sad when I come across a scene like this out in the middle of nowhere.  Trash and furniture and other miscellaneous crap strewn about the desert because someone was too lazy to take it to the city dump or break it up and put it in their own trash can.  Humans can be so disgusting sometimes.

There seem to be quite of few places out here that are "decorated" with these old school tractors other and agricultural equipment.  I finally found one that wasn't hiding in plain sight behind a fence of some sort, so I snapped a few pics of it.  :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIMON!!!  Here is Simon opening up some of his presents and cards from his family back in England.  He got a real kick out of the card his sister and family sent, a Dr. Who talking card!  And you if you look closely you can see his parents on Skype in the background!  :)

I washed Simon's new renn-faire get up today and he decided he wanted to try it on again so I could get a few pictures of him in it.  AWESOME!

We had eggs for breakfast today.  I decided to take a picture of them before I scrambled them up for cooking.  Just a little something different.....

So my dogs kept going crazy every few minutes this morning while looking out the window.  They would cry and whine to go out, so I would let them out.  Then they would come back in after only a few minutes of being out.  Then they would go back to the window and start crying and whining.  Finally I decided I should take a look to see what was to dire, and THIS is what I found!  Two crazy cute little squirrels taunting my dogs!  As soon as the door would open they would shoot back in their little den/hole, and then they would surface again when I let them back in, ridiculous; yet funny at the same time.  :)
