DAY 278

I've been working hard on my puzzle the past few nights and I haven't really got really far as the pieces all appear to be very near the same color at this point.  Hopefully I'll finish it before the year is out...  :)

DAY 277

Simon enjoys taking time out of his day to chase the girls around the backyard for a few minutes or so.  This is a lovely picture of him giving Boomer some lovin' after she slipped a bit and fell in the dirt.  You can see the love and affection in her eyes.  Too cute.

I really like the look of this one as well.  Our neighbor dog, Tucker, being nosey as usual and the girls keeping an eye on him while pretending not to notice him......  silly dogs.

I like that you can see what she's looking at.  And the sky looks SO blue in the background.

 So, Simon got our camera back up and running and this is one of the first pictures I took with it while testing it out.  My little Starbuck is sooo cute with her curly little tail.

This is a different view of my little excursion yesterday.  I climbed up on top of that outcropping of sharp rocks and took some more pictures.  Look how tiny Bertha looks......

Today I went for a drive out in the middle of nowhere and came upon this outcropping of rock that was different from anything else around.  This picture in particular I thought came out really cool looking.  It almost looks like a fake movie set or something.

This is Spencer and Boomer sitting on the couch looking so utterly bored with everything just as we were giving Simon's parents a call on Skype.  They're so cute, it's ridiculous!

Today I drove home from my sister Jessica's house in Arizona, and on my way home I drove through the Palm Springs area where they have a massive amount of these wind turbines to take advantage of what mother nature has given them there.  It was crazy windy when I pulled over to take this picture, it was a chore to even get the door open to get out of the car!!  There must be hundreds if not thousands of these things out there.  Way to go Palm Springs, keep up the good work!  :)

DAY 269

Today Jessica and I decided to take her kids to see a Dodger spring training game here in Glendale Arizona!  They have a beautiful facility there and it was a lovely day, even though the dodgers lost to the Reds.  :(
