Here's a self portrait, which was inspired by my friend Lacy. I took two that I really liked, but this one looked better in black and white. Plus, I'm quite fond of the background being somewhat askew; I think it's fitting and kind of cool looking. :)
Feeling a little inspired by a documentary I watched on a rather famous war photographer, I went out and took loads of pictures today that I think have a little more 'feeling' to them. Here's one of a dead joshua tree, which made me feel a little sad for it.
So I went out and got a bit snap happy and I didn't really think this shot would come out good at all, so I only snapped one shot. When I got back home and saw it on the computer it actually looked way cooler than I thought it would. I really like that there's a stop sign behind the littered foreground. Perhaps it's a little deeper than it looks at first sight? - Give a hoot, don't pollute!
Here's a picture of my Boomer's 'wound' after a week of healing. We decided that it has healed enough to take the t-shirt off, so she's happy as can be now; no more pouting.
Today we got new cell phones. It's called "Droid" by motorolla and I'm thoroughly impressed with it so far. I downloaded a sweet background for it and it's got all the music I love, good times. :)
Today I was following my dogs around the yard again and snapped some pictures of them and the other neighbors' dogs. I thought this one was pretty cool. Starbuck in the foreground and Boomer in the near distance - doing their best impression of guard dogs.
My sister is fostering another dog for the shelter. This time it was a VERY pregnant Basset Hound who happened to give birth last night to six darling little puppies of all sorts of flavors. Very sweet dog and super sweet picture. :)
